How much do you know about the core manufacturing details of warehouse racks?

As a fundamental component of modern warehousing systems, the load capacity and service life of warehouse racks are not determined solely by material thickness. Instead, meticulous craftsmanship is the key to achieving exceptional quality.

The initial acid pickling and phosphating process serves as the first critical line of defense for rack quality: raw materials undergo multiple cycles of acid-alkali cleaning to remove surface rust and oil residue, followed by the formation of a dense phosphating protective film. This prevents common issues such as coating peeling and base material corrosion at the source. Compared to racks with only basic degreasing treatment, this method extends service life by over 30%.

The subsequent electrostatic powder coating process employs fully automated production lines: powder is evenly applied onto rack components via a high-voltage electric field, then cured at 200°C to form a protective coating with a hardness rating of up to 2H. This coating resists scratches and withstands typical forklift impacts in warehouses, while its environmentally friendly, odorless nature makes it suitable for specialized storage environments such as food and pharmaceutical industries.

Equally important but often overlooked in the industry are bending and welding details: high-precision CNC bending machines ensure angular deviations within ±0.5°; full TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding produces smooth, flush welds after grinding, combined with safety locking mechanisms on beams that effectively prevent cargo displacement and collapse during stacking.

Zunding Hardware consistently relies on superior craftsmanship to strengthen warehouse safety, delivering stable and reliable storage solutions across diverse industries.
